Polypropylene, acrylonitrile, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, propylene oxide and so on are the basic raw materials of the three synthetic substances. At room temperature propylene is a colorless, slightly sweet gas. Zero point -185.3℃, boiling point -47.4℃. Under the condition of 815℃ and 101.325 kpa, it has a slight anesthetic effect. Flammability is 2% to 11% explosion limit. Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents, is a low toxic substance.
